Safety Patrols

Keep Longs Creek moving in a safe direction as a Safety Patrol! Safety Patrols are students who have qualified based on high academic and character standards to assist the campus as needed. Daily tasks include helping with student arrival and dismissal and serving as examples for school procedures. Students rotate through assignments about every three weeks, as assigned by sponsors. Students have the opportunity to serve as Morning and/or Afternoon Patrols. Grade: 5th* (select 4th)

Meets in: Longs Creek Elementary Morning Safety Patrol Sponsor: Coach Talbott Afternoon Safety Patrol Sponsor: Mrs. Garcia Note: Positions are filled at the end of the students' 4th grade year for the following school year. A select group of 4th grade patrols are enlisted to help dismiss the Kindergarten and First graders in the afternoon.
