Mrs. Elizabeth Brackman-Paniagua

My name is Elizabeth Brackman-Paniagua and I am from San Antonio, Texas. Not only was I born and raised in San Antonio, but I am a product of North East Schools! I attended Clear Spring and Woodstone Elementary, Wood Middle School, and then graduated top 1/4 from Madison High School. I have three college degrees including a Bachelor's of Arts in Communication Arts and a Master's of Arts degree from the University of Incarnate Word. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Juan Paniagua for 25 years. I have two beautiful daughters; Ariana who is 24 years old and recent graduate of Texas A&M in San Antonio with a major in Early Childhood Education, and Izabella who is 19 years old and a first-year student at Texas State University. I am in my 21st year of teaching children and adults with ages ranging from 4 to 85 year olds. My experience has been Bilingual Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade and teaching in an ESL, General Ed and dual language setting. I also have had the opportunity to teach fellow colleagues at Education Service Center, Region 20 for the past 4 years as one of their part-time Bilinugal/ESL Educational Specialists. Sessions I have provided were: SIOP (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol), Linguistic Instructional Accommodation Guide tools, TeXes ESL Review, Centros de alfabetismo, Science in the Dual Language Classroom, Meeting the Affective, Linguistic, Cognitive Needs of ELLs, LPAC Framework, Symbaloo 101, 50 Strategies for the ELL, RTI and the ELL, and other PD.  I feel blessed to be able to implement these professional development strategies in your child's classroom.
