• Mailing Services 

    Mailing Services picks up and delivers the District's mail daily, processes outgoing mail relating to District's business. 

  • Certified & First Class Mail

    The certified mail receipt must be placed underneath the return address. Please do not place the receipt in the upper right corner. The upper right corner is reserved for the postage meter. Please be sure to fill in all required information on the certified mail green card. Envelope flaps must be sealed or in the down position, only. Do not insert unsealed flaps into the envelope. Please use this visual as a guide when placing the certified mail receipt on your envelope.

    First Class Mail

    First class mail must be delivered to Mailing Services no later than 2:30 p.m. Mail that is delivered after 2:30 p.m. will be processed the following day. It may take one-two (1-2) business days for the U.S. Post Office to deliver first class mail within a 782 zip code, all other zip codes outside the city limit may take a little longer. The Post Office does not consider Saturday, Sunday or holidays as working days. Please keep this in mind if your material is time sensitive.

  • UPS (Ground / Next Day / 2nd Day) Parcel and Letter Service

    All UPS pieces must be sent to a physical address. No P.O. Boxes accepted. We recommend this service because tracking numbers are provided. All parcels must be well packed and taped closed. Envelope flaps must be sealed or in the down position, only. Do not insert unsealed flaps into the envelope.

    Parcels carry a standard insurance value of $100. Any parcel whose valued contents is greater than $100 should have the declared value noted in order to receive insurance coverage. (Insure in multiples of $100.) Please include a phone number with area code of the receiver.

  • Postage Charge

    A Postage Charge Form must be completed in order for us to send out any district mail.

    You must use the 6285 account code. It is the responsibility of the Budget Manager to assure that this account has sufficient funds to cover postage charges. Mail that comes in for processing without a Postage Charge Form will be charged to your default account.
