A new resident of San Antonio, Ivan moved from his hometown of Naples, Italy, where he spent time at the US Military Base and Naples American Middle High School (a Department of Defence school). Growing up in a military family, Ivan had the opportunity to travel around Europe and the United States, where he interacted with a myriad of different people and cultures. He lived in Naples, Italy, Jacksonville, Florida, Chesapeake, Virginia and Ramstein, Germany before moving to San Antonio, Texas.

Ivan is passionate about the fascinating field of Biology and hopes to pass that onto his students. In addition, Ivan is a well organized, dependable and communicative worker who aims to maintain an effective school environment that stakeholders can trust and rely on. He aims to maintain professionalism, positivity and motivation within his workplace as well as the mentality that all students have an opportunity to thrive both academically and socially within the classroom.
