Degrees and Certifications:

Bachelor of Art's- Comparative Religion & Psychology Western Michigan University Master of Art's in Teaching- Secondary Social Studies Louisiana State University

Mr. G. Blake Williams

I have always had a passion for teaching and helping students understand the complexities of the economic world. I hold a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Comparative Religion and Psychology from Western Michigan University which has given me a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives and critical thinking.

After completing my undergraduate studies, I pursued a Master's of Arts in Teaching Secondary Social Studies at Louisiana State University. During my time there, I had the opportunity to teach a wide range of subjects, including US History, Government, and Geography in the vibrant city of New Orleans. These experiences have shaped my teaching style and allowed me to develop effective strategies to engage and inspire my students.

I am thrilled to be teaching Economics and Personal Finance, and to serve as an assistant wrestling coach and assistant football coach for the MacArthur Brahmas. Coaching has always been a passion of mine, and I have had the pleasure of coaching wrestling, powerlifting, track & field, cross country, and softball in the past. Combining my love for teaching and coaching allows me to connect with students on a deeper level and support their personal and athletic growth.

As I look ahead to the upcoming year, I am filled with excitement and high expectations. I am committed to creating a dynamic and interactive classroom environment where students can explore and apply economic concepts to real-world scenarios. My goal is to empower my students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become financially literate and make informed decisions in their personal and professional lives. Additionally, I am eager to continue supporting and mentoring student-athletes as they strive for excellence both on and off the field. Together, we will make this year one of growth, achievement, and success.
