Mr. David Lowther

Hello, 

  I am David Lowther, the German instructor for the MacArthur campus.  My e-mail address is dlowth@neisd.net

  I graduated initally from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990 with double degrees in Accounting and Finance.  After working for nearly a decade as a tax accountant.  I decided that I wanted to teach and pass on my favorite subject in school to new learners.  I went back to UTSA, where I did my German and educational work, to become certified to teach German at the secondary level.  In 2002-2003, I started my career at Warren High School in Northside district as the school's German teacher.  It was an incredible experience as we opened the school that very year.  

  In the course of time, I came to Northeast to become German instructor for the MacArthur and LEE campuses.  I am celebrating my twentieth year in the classroom this year.  I am still going and have found teaching to be far preferable to being a tax accountant.
